In a recent video conference with Supreme Master Television staff, Supreme Master Ching Hai revealed more details of the downfall of Mars. In the past, Mars have experienced climate change in the same way as Earth has, and the inhabitants of Mars were killed by two main posionous gases, hydrogen sulphide and nitrous oxide. These two gases, together with methane generated from live stock raising, caused the inhabitants of Mars to die, leaving only 0.2% survivors, or about 2 million Mars vegetarian people who escaped into underground caves.
